That’s the only thing with fast and busy Parkruns, they’re only fast if you’re at the front (which unless you’re sub 20 you most likely won’t be). Start middle of the pack and 10 seconds has already gone by the time you cross the start line! Thus negating the benefits of the course lol.

Awesome video, I’ve wanted to do this walk for ages but this has definitely persuaded me to do it this year. Unbelievable views and love the solitude of mid wales. Will make a nice alternative to snowdonia or the Brecon Beacons. Thanks for sharing , very well filmed

I do Aberbeeg every week and I concur. It’s main benefit is it never gets more than 80 people, so you don’t lose ten odd seconds just getting to the start line!

Visited Swansea Bay Parkrun during a family holiday last year, it was and remains my 5K PB by quite a margin! Super speedy course with beautiful views over the bay
